PBBM to hold bilaterals with South Korea, Cambodia leaders

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his counterparts from South Korea and Cambodia on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Leaders' Summit next week, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Friday.

The 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Phnom Penh in Cambodia will be held from November 8 to 13.

Neal Imperial, DFA Assistant Secretary for Asian and Pacific Affairs, said Marcos' meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen would be the first as the host government and the current ASEAN chair.

Talks between Marcos and South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, on the other hand, would cover cooperation on various areas as well as the recently concluded Philippine-Korea Free Trade Agreement negotiations.
