Newly renovated Manila Zoo reopens to public

The Manila Zoo on Monday reopened to the public after being rehabilitated, with visitors from Luzon provinces and even as far as Davao City in Mindanao were the first guests.

During the 'Balitaan sa Harbor View' news forum, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna said a senior citizen from Davao City told her that he would be staying in Manila for three days and Manila Zoo was his first destination.

She said an elderly man from Baguio City also went all the way to Manila to tour his grandson at the newly renovated zoo.
