Manila library trains 111 female senior citizens in computer, smartphone use.

The Manila City Library (MCL) conducted its Digital Literacy Program for 111 female senior citizens in the city on Thursday, March 9, in celebration of National Women's Month.

Digital Literacy Program is a two-hour training session conducted to introduce senior citizens to internet, smartphone, and computer use. The elderly were also guided in signing up for their Facebook and Google accounts.

The training was simultaneously held in four MCL branches in the city, including Arsenio H. Lacson Public Library in Calderon, Sta Ana; Bacood Public Library in Mag Araullo, Santa Mesa; Dapitan Public Library in Instruccion St., Sampaloc; and Manila-Sacramento Friendship Library in Zamora St., Paco.
