Fire engulfs about 60 homes in Moonwalk, Paranaque city.

Fire burned around 60 houses in Paranaque city on Tuesday morning, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

According to the bureau, at 9:53 a.m., authorities responded to the incident in a residential area in Purok 7, Galatia Street, Barangay Moonwalk, Paranaque city.

The situation reached fourth alarm at 10:08 a.m.

It was completely put out at 12:17 noon.

Senior Fire Officer 2 Giovanni Corbes told INQUIRER.net that the blaze started at the second floor of a two-storey shanty - a house made of light materials.
